Movie to game conversions are just as bad as game to movie conversions. Now that Resident Evil: Retribution is complete the man behind it all would like to bring Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise to the big screens.



Paul W.S. Anderson told CinemaToday that a film conversion is "currently in planning". It is not clear if he is actively working on a project with Capcom.

Creative director and co-founder of Irrational Games, Ken Levine, has made it clear that there is currently no WiiU version of Bioshock Infinite in the works.

Latest issue of Game Informer contains new details on the upcoming Nintendo Land, which is said to be available at launch with the WiiU.

This e-mail was sent to GameStop managers showing planned announcements beginning Sunday 9th of September.



The Nintendo announcement is said to be on the 13th of September, which is next week Thursday. Nintendo of America will be hosting a Nintendo WiiU preview event where they are expected to announce the possible release date and pricing. I'll keep you folks posted.

Square Enix just grabbed four trademarks: Wizardlings, Ultima Box, Agent 47 and Circle of Mana.



Although not much is known about Wizardlings, the other three could point towards certain Square Enix franchises. "Ultima Box" could be Final Fantasy related as the 25th anniversary approaches. "Agent 47" is the name of the main character in Hitman. Finally, "Circle of Mana" could hint towards the long-running Mana RPG series, Heroes of Mana, which was released on the Nintendo DS back in 2007.

Bethesda Game Studios is one of the biggest fishes in the gaming industry with triple A titles such as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout. Bethesda's PR and marketing vice president Pete Hines has revealed that WiiU development is to be determined.

Capcom has updated the official Monster Hunter 4 site with weapons in the Monster Hunter 4 universe.

Looks like the largest eShop game award will be taken away from New Super Mario Bros. 2 as Fractured Soul takes up a whopping 2,982 blocks of memory on the SD card.



Fractured Soul was originally planned for the DS but never saw the light of day due to publishers leaving this title in the cold. The game will be released next week and priced at $11.99.

NPD group's U.S. software sales results are in and two 3DS titles are among the best-sellers for August. New Super Mario Bros. 2 in second place, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance in third place respectively.

Square Enix released details on the upcoming Bravely Default. There is a town called Norende which is apparently in ruins. It is up to the player to restore this town using the Nintendo 3DS StreetPass and SpotPass features.

Square Enix announced that the first set of details on upcoming Dragon Quest X for the WiiU will be released at the Tokyo Game Show. However, Square Enix has more than just details in store for visitors as they prepare for a demonstration.

First it was Professor Layton and now SEGA's rhythm game, Rhythm Thief. SEGA announced that the iOS version will feature social elements and will be a free to play title.

Square Enix has announced this weeks batch of downloadable content for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.



The following four songs will be made available in Europe on Friday, priced at £0.90/€1.00:

Mutant Mudds was recently ported over to the PC, in doing so, Renegade Kid added an extra 20 levels to the PC version which was not present in the original 3DS edition.



Today they announced that the 20 extra levels will soon be available for free on the eShop store of the Nintendo 3DS. The developers of Mutant Mudds also received their WiiU dev kits and pledged complete support to Nintendo's downloadable service.

Famitsu has rewarded the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with a near-perfect score of 39 out of 40.



Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is due to release within the launch window of the WiiU. Here's hoping the WiiU version maintains the same level of perfection.

The latest edition of Famitsu is packed full of beautiful Monster Hunter 4 screens for the Nintendo 3DS, as Capcom aims to showcase the true graphical potential of the device.



The graphics are said to be comparable to that of last generation such as the PlayStation 2 which is still a remarkable accomplishment on its own.

The WiiU version of Ghost Recon Online has been put on hold indefinitely as Ubisoft concentrate their development team on perfecting the PC version.

CyberConnect2 the developers responsible for creating the Dot Hack franchise and localizing a few key Japanese Wii/DS games in the western hemisphere is rumored to be developing a new game for the PS3 and Wii U and according to the rumor the game will be an MMORPG.

Recently announced Harmo Knight is set to be the most expensive title to date in the Nintendo 3DS eShop.



Harmo Knight costs $18 with a download size of just over 2000 blocks of memory on the SD card.

Famitsu has revealed that the latest entry in the Professor Layton series will arrive on Android and iOS devices. Professor Layton and the Century of the Seven Phantom Thieves features Layton and Luke tracking down burglars across London with social elements such as exchanging evidence with other players in order to catch thieves.
