During today's investor meeting Nintendo had quite a bit of gaming news to share that wasn't just about financial numbers with one of those being an official release window for the latest Mario Kart title exclusively for the Wii U "Mario Kart 8"!

According to Satoru Iwata Mario Kart 8 will be released during the month of May! We will let you know more as new information becomes available! What do you think about the May release of Mario Kart 8? Let us know in our comments!

What this game needs is a closer release date given that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is the only other first party title that's coming soon and it's in February meaning that right now there are no major releases during March and April on the already struggling Wii U. No
