Konami explains why TMNT was removed from the Wii Virtual Console Tmnt

Well... it looks like there's another game removed from the Wii shop channel, but this time, there's a reason why.

As you may know or not, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES was removed from the virtual console in all regions, and now Konami has explained it's reason why, they stated that the game was removed due to an expired license, and it's not known if Konami is going to re-up it's license or not.

While it is sad for anyone who wanted to pick this up... it probably was for the best for this to happen...

I figured as much. I wouldn't be surprised to see the other licensed games leave the Virtual Console in the not-too-distant future as well.

What I don't get is why these companies fail to warn us before they remove the game Question
They would get a boost in last minute sales if they warned people Konami explains why TMNT was removed from the Wii Virtual Console 1625187496
