Nintendo Life “Rips Off” WiiWareWave (Kinda-Sorta-Maybe?)

Whelp, things have finally come full circle, as a Nintendo Life article has seemingly ripped off the WiiWareWave slogan:

This article’s tagline is “Riding the waves,” which is almost too coincidentally like the slogan of this fair community, “Ride the Wave!” I’ve noticed a gradual decline in NL’s quality over the years, but has it really come to this? 🫤

Does this make us on-par with the greats (by which I mean fan communities and news sites who must prove they’re great, in contrast to fan communities like WiiWareWave who are great without having to prove ourselves?)

I’ll say this… I’m so glad I made the decision to join this site over a decade ago, as it feels like a true family who supports each other, rather than the usual jumble of individuals and cliques who seem to vie and squabble for attention.

I’ll take tightly-knit over dysfunctional any day!

Aw shucks! But yeah this community is awesome because of all the wonderful members like you  @OrionJZed!

As for NL? All I'll say is that their community has grown FAR too large for a site that has only like 2 or 3 active moderators.

This site has been nicer to me then NL, at least I came close to meeting my dream girl on here instead of constantly being belittled for liking what I like.

@KokorOtaku I’ll be honest, the disrespect they showed you simply for being yourself was a huge motivator in taking up @KeAfan7’s offer. ️

Teasing me is one thing, but I draw the line at bullies ganging up on innocent people, especially my friends. No way I want to support a Fronked-up troll hollow that picks on its own members and/or does little to resolve such dramas!

Just know that you’ll never receive any flak from me for being true to yourself, and I’ll always welcome you with the kindness and respect you deserve. You are amazing, no matter what anyone thinks.
