SEGA has announced via. Twitter that their 3D Classic Gunstar Heroes will be released in Europe and North America next week on the 3DS eShop! Nintendo seems to have lost interest in the 3DS Virtual Console service, however SEGA has been doing a nice job supporting the service as of late!

This game is interesting with developer M2 in mind because interestingly, M2 also developed a Game Gear version on this game in Japan back in the day
