It's been maybe a week of just me posting at least every other day, but at least @BurstDashV8 has been here occasionally, lurking behind-the-scenes as my accompli- as my partner in cri- as my mutual elder sibling from a different maternal figure... I swear we've been on our best behaviour and not thrown twelve consecutive parties in a row. Honest!

@Zatchbell Well... the Isle of Armor expansion in Pokémon Sword and Shield has the Tower of Waters (awesome music, btw), so... wish granted, I guess?

@Talesfanatic Noone knows... there have been countless myths, legends and he-said-she-said-they-saids throughout human history about the mysteries of the WareMewda Hexaquadrangle. Some say that anyone who so much as ventures within a 64-webpage radius are kidnapped by the Koopas and forced to participate in Mario spin-off games. (Anyone remember Waluigi...? Yeah, perhaps not just a myth. )

In all seriousness, everyone's probably busy doing stuff. Work... exercise... travelling... playing the newest game releases... spending time with their respective fams and/or social circles... y'know, life in general.

Plus, I've been going through a multifaceted existential meta-crisis since roughly this time last year, with current events (and family-related difficulties) anything but helpful in that regard, leaving me in a mutable state that is neither strictly positive nor brutally negative, as I both grow and discover strengths of character and being I didn't know I had, yet continue to be subjected to most of the shortcomings and challenges I've faced in life thus far, a lot of them not even my own.

At least now I know that many of those flaws and difficulties stem from external sources (as in people other than myself), and thus are not my fault, which is a step in the right direction. Once I accept the fact that there is no shame in "screwing up" trying to do right by others, even if their reaction is anything but positive, I can truly consider my self-confidence restored. For now, all I can do is continue to be a good person. My motto (well, one of them, at least) is, "If I am able to bring a smile to one face each day, then it is never a wasted effort."

(Slowly opens door.)

Luigi: "M-Mario...?"

(Teeth chatter.)
