Share a Haiku

The koi enjoys the spring showers.
The koi fears nothing.
The koi thinks it will live forever.
The koi never retreats.
The koi gets eaten by the snakefish.

whats a haiku?

It's a 5 sentence poem like I posted above.

Swept across the ocean's waves at night.
Not another human soul in sight.
I felt the oceanspray on my face.
As upon the starlit sky I gazed.
I sighed with the subtle whisper of the waves.

Side Note: Please don't judge this poem too critically, because it's been many years since I've even bothered to try composing. Plus, I only spent approximately 4 1/2 minutes producing this.
