The Ys Series Discussion (Ys VIII Lacrimosa of DANA Out Now!)

Is anyone else enjoying YS VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on their Vita/PSTV or PS4? In my opinion it's the best game in the entire series. It has so much depth and is absolutely gorgeous!

Heck yeah! I'm playing the game on my PS4 and I gotta say it is one of the best RPGs I have played in years. Everything about it is just so good.

I disagree about it being the best game in the series, but it's still a really awesome game!

Has anyone downloaded the redub patch yet? The dialog delivery is flawless in the new dub!

@Reanfan I just got around to downloading the patch and it's a reasonably good redub. It's not too different from the original dub with the exception of a few characters, but you're right about the delivery of the dialog being improved upon.

Is the PS4 version of YS VIII worth $10 more with its extra content and better graphics?
