amiibo Trading Post
June 3rd 2015, 3:11 pm
I just had an idea! I've come to realise that different amiibo are much more common in some places than they are in others, and I thought of a new thing we could have here on WiiWareWave: an amiibo Trading Post! Basically, people can make a post either requesting a particular character they are trying to find, or offering a character they have. Then anyone browsing the posts can take up an offer listed, and the trade can commence. It could be yet another way to bring the community together as we help each other complete our collections.
I think, as a general rule, the thread should be specifically for exchanging individual characters, ie. one character in exchange for one character, just like trading Pokémon. It would be unfair to offer or demand multiple characters for a single one or vice-versa. It should also not be used as a means to buy and sell amiibo for cash, since that's what online marketplaces are for. Trading Post means exactly that, a place to trade amiibo.
What do you think of this idea?

On Wednesday 1st February 2013, a little series named Crystals of Silveria made its “official” début right here on WiiWareWave.
Now, ten years on, the adventures of Zed Starmute and the Crystalbound are on the verge of their TENTH ANNIVERSARY!
The series may have been quietly shelved since then (creative burnout FTL), but the original 17-episode season is complete and remastered, and available to read in its entirety here.
There’s even a one-shot OVA-styled special that continues the story, as well as serving to “tide over” fans during the interim into later, mostly-on-hiatus storylines.
Either way, it’s PARTY FESTIVAL TIME! WOO!

@GamerZack87 Your idea is brilliant! Let the trading begin!
@Otaku I'll trade with you! Just let me know where I should ship the Amiibo to via PM.
