The Twelve Days of Christmas: Nintendo Versions
November 19th 2012, 8:09 pm
Here's a fun idea to get Wavers into the spirit of the Christmas season! Those of you who have seen my current signature will know that I have written my own version of the classic Christmas Carol "Twelve Days of Christmas" (one of my many favourites), and it gave me an idea: why not start a thread that allows other Wavers to post their own versions of Twelve Days of Christmas, ones with a distinctly Nintendo flavour? Each member could add elements of their favourite Nintendo franchise(s) and create a Carol for everybody to enjoy! If you'd like to create your own version, this is the place to do so. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone. Just to say that when I heard that my dear friend, GamerZed, come up with this very interesting take on the Classic 12 Days of Christmas with a strong Nintendo feel to it. Being a great friend, I decide to come up with my version.
Twelve Days of Sonic-verse Christmas
Twelve Chao'es Cheering,
Eleven Buzzers 'bursting',
Ten Tails flying,
Nine Piko hammers,
Eight Knuckles gliding,
Seven Emerald shards,
Six Blaze's dancing,
Five... Rings... Grabbed,
Four Silver PSI-ing,
Three spin jumps,
Two pairs of shoes,
And a Blue Hedgehog with all his good friends.
I hope that people on WiiWare Wave will happily enjoy my version I made with a lots of Sonic the Hedgehog references in it. Hope that I really did well on it.

Hello everyone. I just come by just now and I notice that there is a growing number of good 'Twelve Days of Christmas' versions so far, and they are all looking great to sing with.
Just to state that the whole idea of coming up on our own version of the song is a very good one.
Thank my friend GamerZack, we can enjoy reading on what we can come up with, of which he recently have done a great take with a strong Pokemon theme in it.
Great job, my good friend and the same can be said with Eureka's version with a good overview of other enemies you can find in Super Mario universe.

Hi Wii Ware Wave go'ers
Just to point out the the post above is actually done by me, only that at the time I didn't noticed I'm not logged on as I did it.
As you can see, it's got an avater of Mario in a Frogsuit with part on my Username only it's miss the 'hV8' at the end. Quite awkward, I have to state.
Please mind the confusion it may cause, as I really don't mean it in any way.
Anyway, hope that everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hello again, everyone.
I'm back once more to share with everybody a nice version I idea I have been thinking for the last couple of hours so far.
Here it is: The Twelve Days of SEGA Christmas
On the Twelfth day of Christmas, sweet dear Elwing gave to me:
Twelve Gilius riding,
Eleven Nights gliding,
Ten Panzer Dragoons,
Nine Maracas shaking,
Eight Joes jumping,
Seven Blue Rogues sailing,
Six Jet Set's Fans spraying,
Five Gallian's Tanks driving,
Four Centaur Knights racing,
Three monkeys rolling,
Two Numens skiing,
and a Blue Hedgehog enjoying Christmas Time with all his good friends.
I hope that this version is a treat for everyone to enjoy, especially with all the nice SEGA references that is put in.
Well, I dearly wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
