Reason Why Lack of New Announcements at E3 Images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQvUlQHCKRRuWmj-TfJbyG0D0Pa2y280QIkYvn4ZlqztwSDU6okSw

Nintendo focusing on only launch date and launch window Wii U titles during their conference felt a little underwhelming due to lack of inspiration for the non-early adopter and future plans for the next gen system. What's even more troubling is that the only future Wii U release was at last year's Nintendo conference with a new Super Smash Bros. title, which is not going to be release for a very long time.

Thankfully, Nintendo address this to their investors that there will be traditional franchises and new IPs right after the launch window period and both Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Iwata are directly involved in the development process. The reason why they didn't announce them isn't because they're not ready to show the games yet, it's because they don't want other companies copying them.

This reply to both Sony's PlayStation move, Wiimote, and Microsoft's Smart Glass, Wii U GamePad except that it's using other existing tablet devices. This also replies to software as well such as Sony's PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale taking the same connectivity ideas for the new Smash Bros.

Wii U is in good hands.

For those who were disappointing at this year's E3 for Nintendo, does this made up for it? Leave your welcoming thoughts at the comment section below.

I think Nintendo should have shown at least one of those games to reassure investors and consumers that the WiiU will be better than the Wii Neutral

That's no excuse for Nintendo's lackluster e3 performance.

So you decided to take a chance of seriously damaging your reputation and stock value by holding off on showing us anything new? Bad decision Nintendo Neutral

My main thing was not seeing the "Third Party" games I wanted to see.

Nintendo showed a lot of new games for WiiU: NintendoLand, Watch and Wario, P-100, Wii Fit U, Lego City even New Super Mario Bros U was it's first official announcement (although we all suspected it was coming).

Ubisoft stole some of it's thunder showing several WiiU titles and exclusives the day before.

Problem was that what Nintendo did show was not what was expected. Nintendo had promised to 'bring the core back' and the already announced Pikmin 3 and ports from other HD systems were no where near strong enough content to deliver on that promise.

Fact is, no Nintendo franchise is. Wii had 2 Metroids (4 if you include Trilogy), 2 Zeldas (3 if you include Link's Crossbow), 2 3D Mario, 1 2D Mario, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country (plus Jungle Beat), 2 Kirby's, 2 Pikmin (NPC), Xenoblade, The Last Story (JP/PAL), Pandora's Tower (JP/PAL), 2 Fatal Frames (JP/PAL) and it's still considered casual.

Nintendo merely proved that the WiiU is going to be just as if not more casual than the Wii which is the opposite of what Nintendo promised us last year.

The only reason why the Nintendo E3 presentation was so bad was the absence of third party support and the games we did see were already announced previously.
