Is WiiU Losing Hype From The Major Developers Already?
At Capcom's annual Captivate event the only news about upcoming titles for Nintendo hardware was there was none. Capcom said they have no plans currently to release Resident Evil 6 on WiiU.
Does this news surprise you folks as much as it surprised me?

Indeed. Us Wii owners Missed out on Resident Evil 5 and now 6. That really sucks.

This is so dumb I guess the WiiU is destined to suffer the same fate as the Wii has.

I would say that. The games were probably too far in development when the WiiU was announced.
But A port should be possible in the future once the game is done.

Maybe they'll release a port later down the line if the game is successful on other consoles and the WiiU turns out to be a good home for these types of games. They ported Resident Evil 4 to other consoles despite it once being a GameCube exclusive, so I wouldn't rule it out.
