Do you finish every game you start?

Like a lot of you, I purchase plenty of games digitally and from retail, so it's hard to keep up with all the new releases sometimes. For example, something on the scale of Skyward Sword was so alluring that I found myself dropping several Virtual Console games to fully experience it. I do try to go back and beat the forgotten games though, even if it takes me years after the fact. I finally beat Pokemon Colosseum yesterday, even though I bought it in like 2006 or something.
What about you? Do you try to finish a game before buying the next one or what are your habits?

For me, it depends really.
I sometimes try to beat a game that I have in my collection or when I recently purchase one, but I don't do it if the game is really bad or really difficult...
And if I finish the main game (just beat the game, not 100% complete it), I just put it in my collection for a while until I pick it up again to beat it again, or if I want to complete it in 100%.

If you only have these two choices, which one will you choose ? to have a game with no story ? or to have a game with the most ridiculous, boring, cliché-filled and horrible story ever ?
Do games need to be epic ?... or fun ?...

I used to complete all my games but things have changed in the last years...
I´m not only buying games I want to play, I´ve also started to build up a collection of games (that I think are worth to own) and I want to beat/complete them one day. But there`s just too little time and too many games and I´m getting older and lazier, and games are much bigger and longer now as well.
I try to concentrate on just one system, the Wii, and even that one alone has too much to offer. Just recently I started Echoes of Time and Rune Factory Frontier, both 100+ hours games if you want to complete them. Not to mention my backloggery.
On top of that another epic - The Last Story - is just around the corner.
There´s no chance to keep up with the good games. Once I beat a ridiculously large game two others get released.

It depends on the story. If I come across something really interesting then I tend to follow it through till the end. I'm more into action and adventure games. Something like No More Heroes where the characters are over the top and story is awesome will always be something I keep coming back to. Definitely has a few flaws, but so does every other game. I tend to complete the single player aspect of a game in a few days (excluding collectibles) so single player games do not last too long in my library. I enjoy every minute I squeeze out of a game though. Serves its purpose of delivering entertainment.

I always finish games I like but sometimes I don't finish games if I'm uninterested in them or if they fail to meet my expectations.
