I think staff members should not be eligible for member of the month

I understand what you mean, but i have allowed staff members because i want this to be open to All.

I see what you all mean. It just gives me more work. I get submissions to be a member of the month nominee, and i have to reveiw EVERYONE before considering them.

Why not just narrow it down to non staff members on the top 20 posters even I can do that as a regular member I vote WiiAboutU
