With Nintendo Switch just weeks away from release, it could also mean that Nintendo GameCube games might finally be added to Virtual Console. Which five GCN titles would you most like to be able to play on your Switch? Your Top 5 Possible GCN VC Games for Switch 631737971

Here are my top five titles (I'm only including games I don't own in physical form that I still yearn to play):

1. Super Mario Sunshine
2. F-Zero GX
3. Mario Party 4
4. Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
5. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

Wasn't TLoZ: Four Swords Adventures a free game to download on the 3DS? What's different about the GameCube version?

The one on DSi is Four Swords: Anniversary Edition, and is a remake of Four Swords for GBA. Four Swords Adventures, meanwhile, is a full-blown up-to-four-player game for GCN with all the trimmings, including loads of levels and dungeons to explore.

The GCN version required players to use GBA consoles as controllers in multiplayer, but I'm sure Nintendo could find a way to make multiplayer work on Switch, even if it requires linking four consoles using Handheld Mode.

Here's a link to a page with info on Four Swords Adventures in Zelda Wiki. Your Top 5 Possible GCN VC Games for Switch 631737971

Well id scratch off Zelda WW, Zelda TP, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, DKJB, Mario Power Tennis, RE remake, RE0, RE4, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2 if digital transfers are possible since they have more modern versions. I'd like Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness, Billy Hatcher, Viewtiful Joe, and Luigi Mansion

@Minato But would games that require the Wii Remote and/or Nunchuk be playable on Switch? I guess two Joy-Con could be used in a similar fashion, but isn't the lens on the right Joy-Con on the bottom rather than the top? If so, it might not be usable as a Wii Remote substitute since there's no way for it to act as a pointer.
