What are Your Favourite Main Series Pokémon Games?

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the main Pokémon series, but which ones are your favourites? Share your thoughts right here!


My favourite generations of Pokémon are Gen II and Gen V; the former is mostly a nostalgia-driven choice, with the latter being my favourite for a mixture of reasons including story and innovation. Having said that, I don't particularly dislike any main series game, but I'll do my best to choose my top favourite versions, which are (in order of release):

●Pokémon Silver Version
●Pokémon White Version
●Pokémon White Version 2
●Pokémon X
●Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

I think I'm a genwunner. I'm just annoyed with how many unnecessary elements they have added in the later games. I just wanna catch Pokemon, train them and fight. Not dress them up, put up shows, dig for treasure and what else they have added. Also the amount of Pokemon is ridiculous and has gotten a lot less interesting in later games. So the first two games will always be my favorite.

That being said, those weren't perfect either. It too had it's share of stupid Pokemon. I hated some of the usless HM's and the sprite models of the non Yellow version was aweful sometimes.

Still, can't wait for the re-release in the eShop. Getting me some Blue (already have the other ones).
