Super Smash Bros. for Wii U discussion

I liked most of the new modes and features that were announced during the Nintendo Direct last night, but I'm not a fan of Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings taking up 8 of the available character slots in the game lol.
I felt the same way when the Koopalings were announced for Mario Kart 8.

I want to see more megaman action. Buddy looks sick. Im also surprised mewto retured. Tats cool too.

@Shino Asada Bowser Jr. only takes up one slot, he has the Koolpalings as Alts (kinda like the different color shy guys and Yoshis in MK8)

I want this game so badly, but I don't have the funds to download this.
This makes me so sad.

I'm kinda bummed out that I can't get Smash Bros. for Wii U until next year. It was either this or Pokémon, and since I have Smash Bros. for 3DS already, then Pokémon is my wisest pick...ACHOO! *Sniff* Sorry, I sneezed.

But when I can, I would like to play Smash online with you guys and gals.

I'll review the Wii U edition of the game if that's alright with you boss.

How many stages does Smash Bros. For Wii U have?

Dissapointing Sakurai didn't completely keep his word about 3DS version having handheld references and WiiU having home console references :/
jam With the Band, AR Cards, Culdipct, Dillons Rolling Western, Style Savvy, Art Academy, Golden Sun, and X music are in the WiiU version but NOT 3DS :/

Hey, has anyone tried out the Smash Ballot yet? Apparently, a lot of people want Reckless Silhouette Guy as an actual fighter; the scary thing is that if he receives enough votes, it could really happen! O.o

I don't own it yet, but I might be able to get it next week. Hopefully my Internet connection will return to normal by then.

Pre-purchase question: Can amiibo be used in For Fun mode online? It's yet another factor which would push me to buy this game so I can play with y'all.

Just a couple of quick questions:

1. How big is the PAL file size?

2. What's the average length of time it takes to download the game?

The answers to these two questions might help me decide whether to get a hard copy vs. digital download.

Well the North American version is over 14 GB so the PAL release would probably be a little larger due to the extra language options that European games possess. As for how long...a game of that size typically takes between 8-14 hours for me and I have 12 MBPS internet connection. I hope this helps.
