Pokémon: (insert region) Adventure

I have brainstormed a new idea for a different kind of Pokémon adventure: a storytelling game involving the WiiWareWave community! Each participant will take the role of a character, a young Trainer beginning their Pokémon Journey. They will meet people with Pokémon of their own, who are also aspiring Trainers and Gym Leaders, among other roles. I will be the Game Master, the one who mediates the story, resolves any squabbles amongst players, and plays the minor roles. Before we begin, though, we need to decide which region the story takes place in. Anybody who wishes to participate will be allowed to vote on one of five potential settings for the story (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or Unova), each with its own primary, secondary and minor character roles. The story options are as follows, with a new option unveiled every now and then:

Pokémon: Kanto Adventures

PROTAGONISTS

Character names: Red Sato (the boy); Leaf Geru (the girl); Blue Oak (the rival). Blue sees Red as his biggest rival, always trying to one-up him. Leaf is Red's friend, and she wonders why Red and Blue are rivals when they were once best friends.

STARTER POKéMON


Red, Leaf and Blue will have a choice of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Red's choice will determine Blue's Pokémon; he will choose the Pokémon with a type advantage over Red's. Leaf considers the fact that her Pokémon is stronger than Blue's to make up for Red being at a disadvantage. Each character receives an Eevee evolution as a gift later on; the one received depends on the starter chosen.

FRIENDLY POKéMON

Red, Leaf and Blue are presented with the chance to befriend a Pokémon later on which becomes a valued companion. The Pokémon who wants to befriend each of them depends on the starter chosen.

OTHER CHARACTERS
Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Koga/Janine, Sabrina, Blaine and ??? are the Gym Leaders of Kanto. Each specialises in a type, and Red, Leaf and Blue must defeat them in order to travel to the Indigo Plateau.

Interesting forum game I would join if I had more free time, but sadly I don't. D|
