New Take On A Classic!
SEGA has announced that they will be remaking their classic sidescrolling shooting title Steel Empire on the 3DS eshop! The game was originally released in 1992 on the SEGA Genesis in Europe and Japan. The game is a steampunk style shooter that received great praise for its visual style and tight gameplay.
The remake will have enhanced graphics, stereoscopic 3D, and increased difficulty! The game will be released late 2013 - early 2014 in Japan, but no western release details have been announced.

I'm surprised that this game was never released in America, it looks like a very solid shooter.
