Shin Megami Tensei IV

I put my pre-order in at Amazon, because I don't really like the exclusive DLC armor that GameStop is offering. Does anybody know if any other chains are offering exclusive DLC? I'm really anticipating this game, since it's more of an adventure RPG than a tatical RPG. Has anybody else put their pre-order in, and if so, where and why?

I have because I love the survival horror and RPG elements that the games in the series possess.

This looks like a fun game, but this will be my first game of the series so I can't really say much about the series.

I'm on the fence, but the game looks fairly good.

OMFG! This game is incredible. I'd highly, highly recommend this to any RPG fan out there. SMTIV has actually taken the place of FE:A on my 3DS friend card. Yes, it's that damn good!

Is this game similar to the Persona games?

^ I'm sorry, but I've never played any of the Persona games. The only other game I've played in the series is Devil Summoner: Devil Survivor on the DS.

Are they all from the same developer?

I thought I was ready to do battle with the Minotaur, but he kicked my party's a**. He just keeps spamming physical attacks, and there are no demons with resistance to physical attacks available this early in the game. I traded Bufu for Spirit Drain, and now I'm paying for it.

How do you defeat the lizard dragon thing that appears randomly in the 8th stage?

I'm not sure which location you're referring too. I'm still building a party for Medusa, at the moment. I'm not very far into the game yet, because I've also been playing M&L:DT.
