VVVVVV Impressions

VVVVVV is really good so far, but there are a few extremely difficult platforming segments that are a little too hard.

This game has some of the best level designs I've ever seen. It can become extremely difficult at times, but it always provides an enjoyable experience and never really feels unfair.

This game really doesn't seem nearly as difficult as I've seen many others state it is. I've only been playing for a little over an hour, and I only have two more crew members left to locate! Isn't this game supposed to last for a much longer period of time?! Anyways, I had died 296 times, the last time I checked and have 5 out of 20 trinkets.

I had reached a very difficult section, at which point I saved my game. There's a crew member following me and mimicking my movements. I reached a room with three floating platforms which move up and down. I can't seem to figure out how to progress past all three platforms, without the crew member dying in the process. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should try and do?
