Within a week I'd worked out the initial concept, but it's taken well over a year to bring it to its current form. I'm still imagining details even now. And I'm also working on 19 other world-building projects at the same time!

Pokémon RGBY, GSC, RSE, Collosseum, FRLG, XD, DPt, HGSS, BW and/or B2W2 would make excellent Virtual Console games.

If DS games came to 3DS VC I'd buy Dragon Quest V since its so rare

I'm a huge collector myself, but I think I'll only go for one (two) system that plays all games via VC

I'm thinking of customizing my XL to look cool, maybe even buying the Gold one and placing parts from my red one carefully to make it look like a Famicom controller

Here's how I think it should have worked out:

Wii U: NES, Super NES, N64, GCN, Wii, WiiWare, Master System, Mega Drive, Sega CD/32X, Saturn, Dreamcast

3DS: Game & Watch, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS/DSi, DSiWare, Game Gear

But what does Nintendo do? In an attempt to keep the ambassador GBA games "exclusive to ambassadors" they put them on the Wii U instead! And what's even more surprising is that they put DS (and, presumably, DSi) games on Wii U as well! I hope that owners of both consoles will eventually have the chance to play their GBA and DS/DSi VC games on their 3DS, because frankly, the idea of playing handheld games on a home console just doesn't sit right with me. -_-

At least I have some GBA games to play already.

You buy a lot of systems

Well, I'd like to try to stick with only the base systems I need:

Wii U (also NES, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, WiiWare and some Sonic games from Sega VCs)

Nintendo 3DS (also Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSiWare, plus some Sonic games for Game Gear, some NES games and Gen V Pokémon games)

Nintendo DS lite (mainly for Game Boy Advance, e-Reader - yes, it works on DS lite! - and dual-slot DS gameplay)

PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3, since I can play most PS consoles between both of them

With just those five, I have great versatility and choice. I may also add a PSP-3000 if I find any PSP games which aren't available on PS3 or Vita. Also, I lost my Pokémon mini, which I hope to find soon.

I hope next gen Nintendo is a DS system that you plug into the TV and can use Wii remotes on the TV or play with buttons on the go for all systems from G&W Ball to wiiu
