Wii U Gets Some Attention Too!



In today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo showed trailers for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Mario Party: Island Tour, and Bravely Default for the 3DS. They also confirmed that the limited edition Zelda 3DS XL bundle will be releasing alongside Zelda A Link Between Worlds on November 22nd and will come with a free download of the game.

Miiverse will finally be implemented on the 3DS with the upcoming 3DS update next month, which should have 3DS owners very excited right now!

Nintendo also announced new Pikmin 3 dlc which will have 8 completely new levels made from scratch as well as two holiday themed levels that will be downloaded automatically for free! The dlc requires a software update for Pikmin 3 in order to work.



Next on the list was discussion about an update to Animal Crossing: Plaza for the Wii U. The update will add a new stamp feature just like the one for Super Mario 3D World that will allow users to place stamps on their Miiverse posts in the app's community. Another new feature will be monthly polls for the app that everyone will be able to vote on. You will also be able to take pictures in the app and send them to your album in New Leaf.

More updates were promised in the future for the app, this current update will go live later today!



Reggie then showcased many upcoming Wii U and 3DS eshop titles in a sizzle reel, followed by a trailer of Super Mario 3D World! The trailer concluded by revealing Rosalina as an unlockable character in the game with her own unique abilities!
