Big News!
Nintendo announced this last night, all Wii U and 3DS online services will be down for 4 hours tomorrow. The maintenance will start at 12:00 PM PST 3:00 PM EST and will end at 4:00 PM PST and 7:00 PM EST. Do you think it could be for the big Summer update that Nintendo has been talking about?

I sorta hope it isn't since they delayed the 3DS one (the one that was supost to happen the same time as the WiiU one) and they might have unified accounts then. But idk for sure

I really want the update to be on par with the PS3, Playstation Home update or other major video game OS updates that have occurred!

I'm hoping it'll be the big update! Some new apps and a more stable OS would be nice.

If this is a big update and the eShops unite I'll be happy, as well as having the option to redownload my once wii VC (now on WiiU) to my 3DS for free or $1 plus Miiverse and something surprising that'll make a WiiU look closer to the PS4 then a PS3

The services are still online! Was this maintenance cancelled?!

Some services such as Netflix and Hulu were unaffected.
