Wacky weather in the Valley of the Sun today!

I live in Apache Junction Arizona which is just east of Phoenix Arizona nestled along the Superstition Mountain Range and the weather has been rather strange today first our low temperature was 95ºF which is our average high temperature this time of the year 
then our high temperature reached 110ºF 
then around dinner time huge storms rolled in and our temperature droped down to the low 80s but that's not all then we got golfball sized hail at around 7:00 pm wait that's still not the end of the craziness we got a third round of storms which has dropped our temperature down to 54ºF our average low temperature is 73ºF this time of the year 
what was the weather like where you live?
