But is it too late?

So the speculation of the super-popular game Minecraft is confirmed, Minecraft has finally been announced for Wii U, releasing on the eShop on December 17th for the price of $29.99
The eShop copy will include the following packs for free:
--Battle & Beasts Skin Pack
--Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
--Natural Texture Pack
--City Texture Pack
--Fantasy Texture Pack
--Festive Mash-up Pack
There will be a physical version releasing but no info has appeared other than we will get a physical copy according to Microsoft.
While Minecraft has been on just about every other platform, and quite a while now, so it may be too late to make good sales. Or is it?
Also according to Microsoft, "Nintendo and Mojang are also collaborating on new content for Nintendo fans to be released at a future date" Amiibo support, maybe?
Will you be buying Minecraft on Wii U? Or are you satisfied with it on another platform? Join the discussion below!

I'm guessing the future Nintendo exclusive content will be skins and I agree this game will fail spectacularly on the Wii U given its price and the fact that it is a port of a very old game.

I hope Microsoft doesnt actually think Nintendos willing to trade this for a bunch of Nintendo IP! >.<

I get the feeling they do as they keep Tweeting ridiculous things like Nintendo IP's might be coming to XBone...

the only way I coukd see it is if Nintendo bought Rare back (thus making them Nintendo titles again), but had to allow Microsoft to release all Rare made games on XBONE first... which I'd be ok with because... Banjo for VC!
