The nintendogs + cats Pet Owners' Club

Do you have nintendogs + cats? Have you taken pictures of your faithful pooch or precious feline and want to show them off to others? Do you simply want to talk about your beloved pets with other like-minded people? This is the place to do so! Pictures, stories, pet care tips...you name it, you can post it here! Well, I guess I'll kick off this thread. I've played for a week so far, and in that time I've managed to befriend three little bundles of joy. Words can't describe them in enough detail, so here are some photos for your enjoyment!


This is Angus, my Shetland Sheepdog. He loves to play and go for walks, and his favourite toy is his boomerang. Angus enjoys participating in Lure Coursing and Obedience Trials, though he usually confuses a couple of his tricks. I picked the name Angus due to both his and my Scottish heritage. A good Scottish dog needs a good Scottish name!


Cats are the biggest new feature in this game, so naturally I decided to pick up Mizu, my kitten. He spends a fair bit of his time doing his own thing, but he interacts with both myself and his adopted siblings far more than I expected! Mizu likes to jump atop the cupboards, and - rather oddly - also enjoys having a bath. Mizu is the Japanese word for "water", which is what I first thought as soon as I saw his sparkling blue eyes.


One dog wasn't enough, so I picked up Lunar, my Husky, earlier today. From what I've seen so far she's very talkative, barking much of the time, and she enjoys going for walks...which is just as well since she's a little chubby and is now on a strict diet-and-exercise plan! She seems to be afraid of most of the neighbours' dogs, but she gets on well with Angus and Mizu. Lunar means "of the Moon", and her silvery fur looks just like the moon's surface, hence the name.
