Interview Overview wrote:“That’s something where we felt like the platform certainly is kind of a party platform. We love playing games on Wii U in kind of party mode. So we don’t have online in the plans for Wii U, but it will be for PC.”

It also gives you power over glitches like those found in classic games, allowing you to scramble enemies, corrupt environments, and enter hidden areas as you explore this hostile alien world and uncover your role within it.
The game will feature over eighty enemies, forty weapons, nearly a hundred upgrades, and over one thousand rooms! We'll let you know more about this title at a later date!

Feature: WiiWareWave Top 5: Most Memorable Protagonists of The Xeno Series!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Foreign Heroes In A Strange Land!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Xeno series has been quite popular over the years with 6 unique entries in the JRPG series and the last two being Nintendo exclusive titles. To celebrate the success of Xenoblade Chronicles X's western release, we'll be publishing two Top 5 lists for the series. One for the most memorable protagonists and another for most memorable antagonists! We hope that you enjoy these exclusive features!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#5: Fei Fong Wong
Fei Fong Wong is the main protagonist in Xenogears. Fei is a very strong-willed character who often suffers from amnesia in the game and has a tendency to completely lose control of himself when his emotions are heightened due to traumatic events or anger. He is a strong fighter who uses "chi" to deal great damage to his enemies.
He has a tragic past that he's unaware of at first and also has a very volatile personality accompanied by apparent split-personality syndrome. Despite all of his issues he still tries his best to help as many people as he can and has a great level of personal growth during the game's story which is why we think that Fei Fong Wong is a deserving character that belongs on our list of most memorable Xeno series protagonists!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#4: KOS-MOS
KOS-MOS from Xenosaga is an android developed by the interstellar corporation, Vector Industries. She is designed to act based upon the probability of success and the relevance of a situation to the survival of the human race, however, any threats that endanger Shion Uzuki, one of her creator's, cause KOS-MOS to temporarily ignore these protocols. She seems very sentient and intelligent, however lacks basic emotional traits.
KOS-MOS is mankind's last line of defense against the interstellar threat endangering their existence. She is extremely powerful and capable of transforming her hands and hair into spectacularly overpowered weapons. She also has a forcefield that protects her from most threats. Her kick-butt nature and incredible fight scenes make her a perfect candidate for our list, however her lack of emotions and growth during the Xenosaga titles prevent her from reaching the top three choices for most memorable protagonists in the Xeno series.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#3: MOMO
MOMO is an artificially created human in Xenosaga known as a Realian. She tends to be very shy and has a crazed fanbase that wishes to either cause her harm or kidnap her during the course of the series. She also shares the traits of a magical girl, wielding magic, and transforming. She appears to be around 12 years old and has a personality to match her looks. Her relationship with her mother and the story behind her creation as well as her personal growth during the series are some of the many reasons why we've chosen her for this top 5 feature!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#2: Fiora
Fiora is number two on our list because of the unique and well-thought-out storyline regarding her in Xenoblade Chronicles. Those of you who haven't played the game yet and don't want the story of Xenoblade Chronicles to be spoiled, stop reading now!
- Spoiler:
- Fiora is an unusual case as she "dies" very early on in Xenoblade Chronicles, but plays a huge role in the game especially mid-late in the story! She eventually is resurrected as a half-human, half-mechon and rejoins the party. There's definitely feelings between her and Shulk which grow as the game progresses.
Her personality at times can be a little strange, but she's a genuinely good person who really grows alot during the game. She's very level-headed and usually keeps calm during dangerous situations which makes her an asset in the story-driven battles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#1: Shulk
It should come as no surprise that the Monado-wielding protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles is our choice for the most memorable Xeno series protagonist as he's easily the most widely known character in the series thanks to his appearance as a playable Smash character in Super Smash Bros. 4!
Shulk is a kick-butt character who comes into possession of the Monado, the only blade in the world capable of destroying the mechon menace bent on destroying the Homs race "essentially Bionis' version of humans" He is a very intelligent and reliable person who rarely gets angry, but when he does he fights with reckless abandon.
He grows alot during the course of the story and eventually makes a world-changing decision that affects the entire universe. The scope of Shulk's importance to the fate of the Bionis and his inclusion in Smash 4 are two big factors as to why we chose him as #1 in our list!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There you have it! This is our list of most memorable protagonists from the Xeno series of games! From the emotionally unstable Fei Fong Wong from Xenogears, to the seriously Kick-butt android KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, and the emotional roller coaster of Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles, these are some seriously cool and in some cases messed up individuals who ultimately make the right choice to help their respective world's and save the day!
Did you enjoy our exclusive feature? What did you think with our choices? As always be sure to let us know in our comments section below!

BREAKING NEWS: Tomorrow is Poképalooza on the Nintendo eShop
Gotta Catch 'Em All!Since the introduction of the Nintendo eShop, fans have clamoured for rereleases of their favourite classic Pokémon titles to play anytime. Nintendo, in conjunction with The Pokémon Company International, has declared tomorrow, April 2nd, as Poképalooza, which will finally bring over 15 games to the Nintendo eShop on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U around the world, as well as finally establishing other long-requested consoles to the service.
For those in doubt, Pokémon Red and Blue will be included in the offerings, meaning that Nintendo 3DS owners will at long last be able to play the original adventures. They are the first games in the new 3D Classics Combo range, which include two titles in one package: Pokémon Red Version + Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Green Version + Pokémon Silver Version! These games are faithful recreations of the original games, complete with full link-up options including the ability to trade or battle with other owners of a game; the sequels even retain the Time Capsule feature, which can be utilised with the save file of the first game in the same package! Finally, the sequels include the female character from Pokémon Crystal Version as a player option, as well as adding a new female character in the original titles, at long last allowing for girls to not have to play as a boy.
Wii U owners will be treated to Pokémon Stadium Plus, a compilation of the first two Pokémon Stadium games for Nintendo 64, which includes full compatibility with the 3D Classics Combo titles on Nintendo 3DS. Both Stadium titles are brought to life in every detail from the originals, with everything exactly the way you remember it from childhood. As a bonus, the package includes a new Pokémon Snap title, Pokémon Snap Frontier, which provides the player with eight areas inspired by the Nintendo 64 original in which they can take photos of over 100 different Pokémon from Generations I and II. Speaking of Pokémon Snap, it is the first Nintendo 64 title to be added to the Virtual Console service on Wii U, and will be joined by two Pokémon-themed Nintendo GameCube games as well, such as Pokémon Colosseum, the first full Pokémon adventure to appear on a home console.
Finally, digital rereleases of Nintendo DS games will be added to the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS, in much the same manner as Wii titles on Wii U. The first main offerings will be Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version, the flagship games from the Pokémon franchise's Generation IV, and will retain local wireless multiplayer but not online play. A Wii game, Pokémon Battle Revolution, will also be added to the Wii lineup on Wii U, and will be fully-compatible with both the digital and original cartridge versions of Diamond and Pearl, as well as Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver.
A full list of releases is detailed below:
Nintendo 3DS
●3D Classics Combo: Pokémon Red Version + Pokémon Gold Version (Nintendo 3DS Download)

BREAKING NEWS: Nintendo Announces the N-Pii Mobile Device to a Shocked Auditorium
________________________________________________________________________________Not Fooling Around!
Just moments ago, Nintendo revealed the next step in their NX project at a private press conference in Damasunoharu Auditorium, with over 100 analysts and media representatives in attendance. The device they revealed was the N-Pii Cellular Device, which is said to be "a fusion of a video games system and a cellular phone in one device".
Reports have come in that the phone has the same buttons as found on a typical controller, including a directional pad, A, B, X, Y, Start, Select, L and R buttons; an attachment even allows the device to be equipped with two Circle Pads for analogue control options. Nintendo has stated that they hope to create a wealth of unique entertainment opportunities for the device, including a line-up of remakes of classic Game Boy titles, such as the upcoming 2.5D-enhanced Super Mario Land N, an enhanced remake of the fan-favourite adventure with a whopping 72 additional levels. Nintendo assures that the device will not be replacing the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but will rather act as its own entity.
Of course, the N-Pii is also useable as a mobile phone. The device straps onto the wrist of the user in much the same manner as the famous Pokégear accessory featured in Pokémon Gold and Silver. Nintendo has stated that they will be introducing a new in-house premium mobile service, which will be free for those who are signed up to the new membership programme, which is due to replace Club Nintendo in autumn of this year. The connection, rather than using a newer signal, will instead use the current 4G standard, in order to reduce the price of the N-Pii to consumers.
Speaking of pricing, Nintendo has announced that the N-Pii will cost ¥25,000, approximately $210 USD; this has been stated as being "much cheaper than [the attendees] were expecting", but that it was "typical of Nintendo to offer lower prices for the benefit of [the consumers]". The device will be available in a range of colours at launch, with stock images of green, pink, cyan, yellow, purple, orange, red, blue, black and white units being shown. One attendee stated, "They're all so nice! I wish I could get every colour!"
It seems as though initial reaction has been positive, but what's your opinion? Will you be picking up an N-Pii at launch, or would you rather wait and see how popular it becomes? Sound off in the comments below.

Review: Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii Retail)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Party Like You're The New Kid in The City!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the world of animal crossing and enjoy a world where time and seasons change just as they do in real life. Do whatever you please be it fishing or helping neighbors out. It's completely up to you.
Gameplay:
This game is a sandbox virtual life game that you can pretty much do anything you want after the first 30-40 minutes of playing. You start the game in a bus talking to a chatty cat who will ask you the name of your town and the current date. Afterwards he will ask you several questions that will affect the gender and appearance of your character.
You will then arrive at your town and choose between 4 different empty homes to purchase. Tom Nook will then accept your initial payment which, much to Nooks dismay, is nowhere near enough to pay for the mortgage so he hires you to do several odds and end jobs to help pay for your homes mortgage. Once completed you can do whatever you want.
Theres tons to do in this game such as visiting the city to shop or fishing, bug catching, fossil hunting or even having some friends coming over via wifi connection. Or you can visit their town. This game has holidays just like the real world and there is plenty to do on those days such as getting presents from Jingle the Reindeer or finding the Jack O Lantern to get special furniture for your pad just to name a couple. It's pretty tedious to some but can be quite fun for those who like titles like this.
Graphics & Music:
The graphics in this game are cute and colorful but don't expect much detail or realism in the graphics (which is a nice change of pace from games like SIMS). The music in this title is very fun and cheerful and fits this titles cuteness very well.
Bottom line:
Animal Crossing: City Folk is a niche game that some will find irresistibly fun and addictive but is certainly not for everyone. However those who like virtual life games that allow you to live a separate virtual life such as The Sims, you'll likely enjoy this refreshingly cute game. At a $20 price for brand new copies it's a bargain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Score: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ 8/10
8- Great This is a great game that might have a few flaws or could have been better, but is still a game we highly recommend!
Review: Arc Rise Fantasia (Wii Retail)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take the role of a mercenary Larc Bright Lagoon in this epic fight against the gods in an atempt to save the common race!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Story & Gameplay:
The story in this game is epic and has an emotion driven feel to it. The game is a turn based rpg that has a unique rogress system that allows you to boost stats and summon mighty rogress to aid you! Expect it to take quite some time to play through this game as the main story will likely take 80+ hours and if you add the secret dungeon, hidden bosses and sidequests, it can easily take 150 hours to complete this game 100%.
Graphics:
Wow, just wow this games graphics are absolutely awe-inspiring as the in game graphics such as models, special effects as well as the towns and dungeons are better then what's seen in most PS2 rpgs. It also has mind-blowing CGI cutscenes that look like something you'd see on a X-Box 360 rpg.
Sound & Music:
The voice acting in this game gets alot of hate by gamers and though it is not AAA quality it's still above average. The soundtrack is awesome and most of the music fits very well.
Bottom line:
This is one great rpg that no gamer should miss out on as it has a great story with tons of sidequests, 100+ hours of gameplay, decent voice acting (despite what you might read on other sites), an epic soundtrack and not to mention graphics that defy the limitations of the Wii.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Score: ★★★★★★★★★½ 9.5/10
9- Awesome This game has little in the way of flaws, and is a highly enjoyable experience.
