This proves that North America list of discount games is different than Europe's. What do you think the next game will be?

Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword will drop the price from $6.99 to $4.99

For those who experience the game, is this a good bargain?

Yeah, I'd definitely recommend, "Sakura Samurai," for only $4.99. I'd recommend Sakura Samurai at it's regular price.

Does anybody happen to know if there will be a weekend eShop sale for, "Gargoyle's Quest," or, "Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins"? I'm already planning to purchase both of these games, but I'd rather save a few dollars if it's possible.

Since Nintendo previously put Super Mario Land, it's safe to assume that they'll eventually do the same for Super Mario Land 2. Gargoyle's Quest, we'll just have to wait and see.

That's a good idea SkywardL. Sakura Samurai is definitely worth as much as any NES VC title available in the WiiShop or eShop. I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction.

Yeah, I should've probably guessed Nintendo would offer SML2 at a discounted price sooner than later. I think I'll charge up my account with $20, and just purchase, "Gargoyle's Quest," for now. I'm also waiting for, "Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land," to arrive. I'll just wait until "TLoZ: Link's Awakening DX," and SML2 are offered at a discounted price. I hope $20 will be enough for those 4 games. Does anybody think I may need a little more money in my account, or should those two eShop sales get me through the gate?

Mario Picross doesn't really seem like my type of puzzler. Although, it does provide a ton of puzzles to solve.

Starting this Thursday, Nintendo officially declares it the Month of Mario. To celebrate the upcoming arrive of Mario's first digital retail adventure, Nintendo will discount ($1 off) a Mario eShop title per week:

26th July to 1st August — Super Mario Bros. — $3.99

2nd August to 8th August — Super Mario Land — $2.99

9th August to 15th August — Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins — $2.99

16th August to 22nd August — Mario's Picross — $2.99

For those who experience the game, is this a good bargain?

That discount seems like it should be very attractive, for anyone who would enjoy this type of application. But alas, I'm still patiently waiting for LA DX to be offered at a discounted price. I'm also waiting to download SML2 for only $2.99. One dollar may not seem like a lot. But it adds up pretty favorably, after you've purchased a few discounted games. Which will eventually allow you to purchase an additional game you would; otherwise, be unable to.

Today is finally the day to get Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins at a discount price of $2.99

This offer is available on the Nintendo eShop until the end of August 15.

I had to wait until this was available at a discounted price, because I only had $4.11 left in my eShop account. But now it has been added to my Gameboy VC collection. This game is so damn nostalgic for me. Playing SML2 brings back so many good childhood Gameboy memories.

Side Note: Now I'm stuck with 89¢ left in my eShop account. Oh well, I guess it'll go towards the tax on any future eShop purchases I make.

Are the discounts done now?

The discounts were nice while they lasted, but they shouldn't have just ceased to exist. I hope Nintendo received the type reaction they were striving for, so maybe these types of discounts will occur again sometime in the future.
