First Person Shooters

I haven't heard about any FPS's for the 3DS. I remember in an interview with Iwata that the 3DS's motion controlls could be very useful for FPS's, but they never listed any FPS games. What would be a good 3DS FPS game? What would you want to see in 3D first person shooter? I have owned only 1 FPS game and that is Metroid Prime Hunters. I just got into FPS's recently and never really heard about any for the 3DS.

It would've been awesome if activision ported Modern Warfare 3 to 3ds and a metroid game would also be good.

Metroid Prime 3DS would be a fun game for fans of the genre.

I want Metroid Prime 4 to be released on WiiU and the 3DS.

I've heard that the Prime series is done and that Retro has moved on as well, so sadly that's not terribly likely. Perhaps they could give it some other moniker and give it to a different studio like Grezzo (they handled OoT 3D).
Anyway, I'm sure the FPS games will be coming when the system is more established. Companies don't want to put something huge like Call of Duty on a new console due to the smaller install base (which is also why the game hit DS recently instead of 3DS, I assume).

I would actually love to ee Renegade kid release a Dementium game on the 3DS. A horror game with such immersive graphics and 3D would be EFFING amazing

Resident Evil Revelations (or "Revelaitons" if you will) is first person? I haven't been following the game that much to be honest, but I could've sworn it was second or third as with past titles?

Here's what I like and don't like.
RE:R Likes
Controls: Circle Pad Pro makes strafing and backing up easier. Even if you don't have the accessory, the game still controls with ease.
Graphics: The cut-scenes look great. The looks really good in motion.
Sound: Very creepy sound effects.
Online: Raid Mode is really addictive. And I haven't had any problems finding any matches.
Customization: I like finding the right combination of perks to add to your weapons.
Dislikes
Story: I really didn't care for the story. But I am going through my second play through. It's nice that you can skip the cut-scenes, and just blast some monsters away.
Voice Acting: There is just one game that really bothered me. But the rest are passable.
RE:R is worth every penny. They have a lot of medals that you can try and earn, and both the single player and multiplayer have a lot of replay value.

The game plays just like RE 4 and 5. But the give you the option to switch to a first person mode when you aim. Like I said, its the closest thing to a FPS.

Great review. Does that mean I don't need to post my review for Re:R

@SkywardL
I'm looking forward to your review.
Here's my 3DS code if you want to add me. 3007-8085-6351
I haven't done too much online yet, but it would be fun to team up.

Activision seriously needs to develop a 3DS version of 007 Legends. Even the DS received a few first-person shooters. Now we have the ability for voice chat, stereoscopic 3D enhancements, higher resolution graphics and much better online capabilities.
