New retail games for download on eShop, available only for USA?

As you might know, Nintendo of America re-launched several retail
games on a digital version for the 3DS eShop today.
I live in Mexico and I set me region to Mexico so I have access to the
Mexican eshop.

The matter is that I've been browsing around the eShop trying to find
this newly released games so I can download them without any luck. I
just can't find the new downloadable games.
On the other hand, I switched my region to look on the US version of
eShop and I had the same results, the new games are nowhere to be
found.

I was wondering if you guys could help me out to confirm if these games
are available for download only IN USA, or only from USA eShop.
If any other people from North America can help me out, it would be
great.

I'm in USA and the USA eShop does have digital releases for Super Mario 3D Land, Star Fox 64 3D, Mario Kart 7, and Ocarina of Time 3D available. They're the first thing I notice when I went to the eShop this morning.

I'll have some intelligence, and I'll just wait for Nintendo's inevitable digital retail sale's. I refuse to pay full MSRP, for a first-party Nintendo title that can be found for a reduced price.

I don't mind paying $40 for NEW games, but. If I already bought them I want to transfer my physical copy for free, as for game I don't own, I hear GS will be offering DL codes that'll be the same price as there new titles in store if they go down in price, like going down to $20 physical there DL code will be $20

Ringofungal, exactly! Digital retail distribution really only benefits those who reside in regions that; otherwise, have very limited access to such first-party Nintendo titles in physical form. Which also benefits Nintendo, but not the like's of us.

Digital games shouldn't cost as much as physical media, since the cost is much cheaper for the company when it comes to releasing and manufacturing a digital retail game.

I kinda get the whole retail price for digital since they need the money to transfer everything to the next gen handheld probably

HarmoKnight, even with any additional costs related to digital retail sales, I'm positive that Nintendo is still saving a large percentage on production costs. Nintendo only needs to emulate the game's once, and they can be downloaded an infinite amount of times. There has to be some profits tied in there somewhere, and I just believe that those savings should trickle down to us, the loyal and valued consumer.

I don't mind the price ATM, but I do want to transfer all my DS/3DS games for free since I payed for them already, I could even settle for something that transfers it for free if you exchange it for a no money back trade in

Why are some countries in North America not receiving the digital retail games?
