An Electronic Arts representative has revealed the WiiU version of Madden 13 will not feature Online Communities, which launched last year.
Online Communities allows large communities to compete against one another. The EA representative said that a general lack of interest is to blame for the exclusion of this feature.

Not really, Yes its bad the feature is gone, but lok at all the other games. It sucks yes, but it could have been worst.
