Nintendo has announced WiiU release dates and pricing for the two versions on offer.
Release dates
-North America: November 18th
-Europe: November 30th
-Japan: December 8th
North America Pricing
-Basic 8GB storage = $300
-Premium 32GB storage = $350
Japan Pricing
-Basic 8GB storage = ¥26,250
-Premium 32GB storage = ¥31,500
Europe Pricing
-Basic 8GB storage = £199
-Premium 32GB storage = £250
Pricing may differ depending on retailers.

I won't be getting a Wii U this christmas, but probably next christmas. The 32 gigabyte built-in hard-drive package is certainly worth the $50 more.

Too bad there are no Euro prices yet. Hope it won't be too high. Glad with the date though. Gonna be a great holiday season.

Yep. GAME and Amazon prices are already far apart from one another.

I'm glad I don't live in Europe then, because someone will price the WiiU at £599.99, €799.99.

I've never heard anything as ridiculous as retailers deciding the prices of merchandise.

That store should get in trouble for trying to sell the WiiU so far above it's suggested retail price!
