SpeedX 3D is a new 3DS download on the Nintendo eShop, which has just been release in Europe. From what I read, SpeedX 3D really takes advantage of stereoscopic 3D.

I'm curious with the title, so I email Gamelion about a possible release date in North America. They're response:

The reason for my interest is mostly due to the fact that this month of new releases on the Nintendo eShop has been a disappointment so far. It's clear that New Super Mario Bros. 2 download version is Nintendo's number 1 priority during August 2012. Unfortunately, that's way there wasn't an eShop 72 article for August 9 - 12.

Gamelion has confirmed via facebook that SpeedX 3D for Nintendo 3DS is coming August 30th to North America for $2,99 USD

I'm in Europe and have downloaded the title. It's a very nice simple game that's good fun to come back to from time to time. It has a good 3D effect (with some occasional minor problems) and really pulls you in to the tunnels and terrain. I'd recommend it for its considerably low price point.

As for NA - you guys didnt get the best downloads this week, but hopefully things will pick up. :3

I'm not completely sure what to think about this game, at this point. I've read many mixed opinions but mostly positive. I'll most likely give it a chance, because it's not pricey. I'm really interested in the enhanced sense of speed the stereoscopic 3D effects will provide.
