Superstition Games prepares for Steam 6-16

WiiWareWave modcop Cloud_Strife turned indie developer just informed us (the WiiWareWave staff) that Superstition Game's first 64 bit JRPG project, Star Guardian Bankai 64, has now received a PC developer kit.

They're still waiting for approval from Nintendo to receive a developer kit for WiiWare. In the meantime, they'll start development for the Steam version of Star Guardian Bankai 64.

Assuming it launches on both, which version will you be playing? Has Superstition Games made a smart decision in not keeping their first project a WiiWare exclusive? Leave your thoughts on the comments section below.

WiiWare is going down the tubes this year so I don't see the point in developing for that service but if you can get your hands on the Wii U Ware kit (or whatever Nintendo is calling it), then that will give you more time to make an even better game. Wink

But I will definitely try it out on Steam as soon as it releases!

I might sign up to Steam if it works with my Netpad, either way I think you're making a good business decision. Wink

Need to start somewhere. Getting the game on Steam alone is a major step forward. Steam is a very good place to start.

The more platforms you can release on, ultimately, the better.

Indeed it has a much bigger audience then Wiiware.
