An ancient kingdom that contained a legendary treasure met with an unfortunate end over 1000 years ago and its treasure's location was forgotten however mario is sent a treasure map by princess peach and goes on a trip to an unruly island to find this treasure,could this be the same treasure spoken of in the legends?

Gameplay

Paper Mario:TTYD is a turn based rpg that has the typical silliness and humor of most Nintendo games,and has a highly entertaining battle system!

Mario learns new moves by equipping new badge or finding a better hammer,or new boots!

Mario isn't in this alone as he is joined by several other characters each with thier own personality,and abilities which often leads to some hilarious dialogue in the story scenes!

This game is truly expansive as it spans over 9 chapters and is over 60 hours long!


Graphics an Music

The paper mario series is known for using 2d characters in a 3d world hence "paper mario" and this entry is no different.

The character models are highly detailed and colorful and the 3d backgrounds and locations are beautifully detailed and showcase the power of the little purple box!

The soundtrack in this game is decent and is fairly memorable however the lack of classic mario tunes is a bit disappointing however it doesn't hurt the overall experience.

Bottom line-This game is one of the best Mario rpgs yet and it has a lengthy humorous story a great battle system,cute yet impressive graphics,and a decent soundtrack and definitely should not be overlooked by mario fans or rpg fans!
