escapeVektor (Online Leaderboards) Empty escapeVektor (Online Leaderboards)

Has anybody else encountered any type of issues accessing the online leaderboards? I purchased escapeVektor the other day, because it's on sale for $5. I wanted to get back to the point I had originally reached in chapter 1 (WiiWare), but I haven't been able to access the Nintendo Network in-game to upload my scores. I keep receiving a message informing me that my scores will be uploaded the next time I'm able to connect to the Nintendo Network. Nnooo really needs to address this issue with an update.
