lol I sort of heard this too.....but they aren't cutting support altogether just reducing wii suport by about half and only "slightly" reducing ds/3ds support

I really can't find the article. But they have two 3DS Resident Evil's planned that I'm really looking forward too.

Capcoms been saying that since 2009 when they released Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles on Wii. The sales were no good so i can blame the. Its sad though cause its an awesome game.
