eShop 72: August 2 – 5 ZSSa6KyCR2lmt0aRgvPzrK0mOd75WeUZ

eShop 72 focuses on the latest download releases, both new and classics, appearing on the Nintendo eShop (North America). Showing you how well they’re doing during the first 72 hours on the service from Thursday, July 12 9:00am, to Sunday, July 15 9:00am PDT.

The 8-Bit Summer event is now over and the Virtual Console releases are back in the drought. The latest eShop releases is not a good way to begin the month of August, fortunately, the latest retail release is a great way to end July. Kingdom Hearts 3D is easily the most successful 3DS retail release last month, already surpassing 1000 ratings 72 hours after launch. Currently, Kingdom Hearts 3D is in 1st place in “All User’s Ratings” for All Software with a total of 1581 ratings.

The only two new eShop released this week were 3D Solitaire, from Zen Studios, and a DSiware titled The Lost Town – The Jungle (image above). There’s still love for some time-filling Solitaire, especially if you could use your stereoscopic photo of your cat as background (I don’t own a cat so no Solitaire purchase from me). 3D Solitaire receives a 5 star status and with a total of 27 ratings 72 hours after launch. Unfortunately, The support for DSiware on the Nintendo eShop has hit rock bottom as The Lost Town – The Jungle hasn’t receive a single rating, despite the fact that this is a sequel to last year release of The Lost Town – The Dust and there are already fans of this Action RPG. It might be the fact that same developer/publisher CIRCLE Entertainment LTD previously released Sweet Memories – Blackjack. I shouldn’t be to rude, they did help release Go! Go! Kokopolo to Japan eShop after all and they’re going to publish the stereoscopic sequel.

I’ll be checking back new process on the Nintendo eShop next week and remember to post your welcoming thoughts at the comment section below.
