Ubisoft has announced that its latest platformer, Rayman Origins for the 3DS has been delayed until June 2012 globally! The game was previously released on the Wii console in November 2011, and was one of the top 10 best selling Wii games in December!

Will the delay be a good thing or a bad thing in terms of sales for the 3DS port of Rayman Origins?

Hopefully it won't be overshadowed by all the other games, at least. It came out in America during the busy holiday season when all the AAA titles were coming out each week. Really poor time to release it...

For all of you 3DS owners, I wouldn't suggest spending more than $19.99 on Rayman Origins. Even if it's displayed in stereoscopic 3D. It's a decent platformer and all, but its visual style is its only strength.

I loved the wii version, and I will be getting the demo. But I'm not buying this again just for the 3d. Hope the delay doesn't hinder its sales, I want a second one! Smile
