Do you think that the NX be the next Wii in-terms of sales?

on May 21st 2015, 9:32 pm
Nintendo has a knack for turning things around financially in an instant, just look at the Wii.
So do you think that Nintendo will revolutionize the industry once again in the next generation?

Based on how quickly the Internet seems to want Nintendo to abandon the WiiU, I can say it looks like these people really want the NX so yes... The 80 million who say Nintendo needs to abandon the WiiU soon are basically promising to buy NX within its first year Wink (but please Nintendo don't actually give up on WiiU yet let it go another 3ish years)

I think it's too early to say. Nintendo has the money and the experience to pull out all the stops and make it the lead system in the next cycle, but, they could have done that with Wii U, too, and they didn't.

Right now, we really don't know anything about the system. No name, no release date, no launch titles, no specs, no controller, no gimmicks... nothing. All we actually know is it's a game system and Nintendo R&D is working on it. Until we get a proper unveiling, I think I'll avoid speculating too much on things like sales. I don't want to get my hopes too high.
