Ghosts And Specters Headed To The Wii U eshop?

Ghost Song is a traditional sidescrolling platformer that takes alot og ques from titles such as Metroid and Castlevania. The game's developer Matt White set up a Kickstarter Campaign just a few days ago and he has already raised over $21,400 for his project with 25 days remaining in the campaign!

The game's story takes place on Lorian V, a moon with a mysterious and dark past. Many brave warriors have attempted to explore its vast surface but most have never returned. Lorian V has now become haunted by the souls of its victims and ghosts who still remain while their decomposing bodies roam around. One of your tasks is to free these unfortunate ghosts by destroying their zombified remains.

If the campaign receives $60,000 the developers will release the game on the Wii U eshop! Game-level backers who donate $15 or more will receive a Wii U eshop key for no additional cost once the game is released!

Here is the Kickstarter trailer for the game!

This game looks like it's as polished as a retail title.
