Sonic and the All-Stars cast lineup on the starting grid, once again, to battle for supremacy in the ultimate race. Compete across land, water and air in incredible transforming vehicles that change from cars to boats to planes mid-race. Master your driving skills as you drift, barrel roll (YES, BARREL ROLL!) and boost to overtake your rivals, or use your weapons tatically and unleash your All-Star move to gain the winning advantage.

Fully Transformable Vehicle
This is no ordinary race. Each character is equipped with their own unique vehicle that can transform into a car, boat and plane to take advantage of the challenging terrains. Each vehicle handles differently and players must master all three forms to triumph.

Choose your Racer
Over 20 legendary All-Stars are back. The starting lineup has been transformed, as new iconic characters from the world of SEGA join the race. What other game sees a hedgehog battle it out against a monkey, a sky pirate and an axe wielding dwarf!

Dynamic Tracks
Take to land, sea & air, as you race through 16 dynamically changing courses inspired by SEGA's illustrious gaming history. Discover hidden routes, find new power-ups and avoid emerging hazards, as you race to victory - every track feels different.

Tools of Devastation
Utilise an arsenal of devastating weapons. Which require skill to aim, shoot, evade and block. The All-Star Moves also return, this time the more daring and stylishly you race, the more your All-Star meter increases allowing you to unleash carnage upon your opponets.

Ultimate Racing Experience
Old rivalries can be settled and new ones created in up to 8-player online. Journey through the All-Star's world to take on a huge range of modes and challenges, including: Grand Prix, Battle Arenas and an incredible World Tour.

I'm definitely going to blindly pre-order a copy of the Bonus Edition. I haven't had a chance to experience the first game, but this racer sounds fricken amazing! I believe the 3DS version will also support voice chat, but I'm unable to locate any concrete evidence to support my suspicion's. Will any other WiiWareWave member's be purchasing a copy of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing: Transformed?

I will be but I'm picking up the PS3 copy.

Also, it was announced that it's 10 players online.

I really loved the first game, much more than MKW.

The shame was that MKW had a far better online, and so that's what took most of my time, kart racing wise.

But I cannot wait for this, and what's even better is that all 20 new tracks are from 20 different Sega series.

Yeah, there's probably 20 tracks and 10-player online in the PS3, X-box 360 and WiiU versions, so this information was probably referring to the 3DS version. Which is the version I'll be pre-ordering, because I'll be unable to afford a WiiU anytime soon. I'm glad at least one of member's showed interest, though.

Well, I've officially pre-ordered a copy! Also, it seems the release date has been pushed forward to Dec. 11th in NA now.

Funny the other day I was going to pick up the first one. But decided against it. Im not spending anymore money on my Wii.

No gamerace, I never experienced the original game for myself, but it seemed to have been received exceptionally well across all applicable platforms. I didn't see any logic in purchasing a copy of the original, at this point in time. Plus, the original game isn't available in 3D either. Very Happy
