Do you think that The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of The Ages or The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of The Seasons will be released on the eshop soon?

Do you believe that Nintendo has learned from the mistakes they made with the Wii Virtual Console and will decide to spread their first party releases out over a long period of time to prevent the deterioration of the eshop Virtual Console's popularity?

I'd hope so. I enjoyed Zelda Oracle of Ages. Just wonder if they'll allow both games to connect to each other since that was a neat feature about these games. I heard Columns for Game Gear on 3DS VC is getting local play, too. Hope that means some GB games get the same treatment.

I very much hope they release them soon. I dont think the link will be a problem since it connected via a password system which would still be functional if they released both.

It wouldnt need local multiplayer for the link - but luckily that functionality is confirmed for some upcoming games: Balloon Fight (NES), Ice Climber (NES), and as Komicturtle said Columns.

Weren't these the first Zelda games that started to focus more on the story?

I think Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask beat them to the punch, but they were most certainly the first handheld Zelda titles to have a deep story. Link's Awakening was very light in story elements, focusing more on gameplay above all else. And as for Zelda (the G&W installment), it doesn't really have much of a story of its own. Wink

I agree with the rest of you about an eShop release for these two gems. Part of me hopes that Nintendo remakes them with the possible inclusion of Mystical Seed of Courage, however. MSoC would have been exploration-based, which is my favourite aspect of the Legend of Zelda franchise. Smile

Amy runs from the room.
Coryn: Wait a minute...doesn't fire beat earth, not wood? Suspect
Mike: Yep. Razz
