Is this Ouya a PC or an actual game console?

I think its a mix of both. But it leans more towards a gaming console.

Ouya is just a cheap gaming console that runs Android. It's going for the indie devs and those who love to customize their gadgets as they see fit so it doesn't feel restrictive like a console does. I wanna call it a console with PC characteristics

I already pledged because I definitely want to see this take off.

Can't believe, however, that people think this will obliterate the big 3's consoles. Sorry, not a chance. I'll have to complimenting my WiiU and any other console I plan to purchase in the future.

Oh it definitely won't. But that won't stop engadget and other tech sites that have something against Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony on the gaming front from saying OUYA = death to big 3 next gen consoles. OUYA is targeted towards a different audience than the other 3. It will have some big hitters, but it's mostly for indie devs and for people who like cheap short lived experiences.

Like most smartphone games.
