Bleach Has Been Cancelled In Japan!

on May 11th 2012, 10:57 pm
As unbelievable as it may seem the Japanese animé with the best TV ratings in Japan has just been cancelled even though there is another long manga arc currently in progress. WTF I hope that they at least ended it in a way that brings closure to the series. Crying or Very sad

Well it's still a few years away here in America. Very Happy

I don't follow Bleach, but it seems rather ridiculous that they would randomly decide to cancel Bleach. Especially if it brings in good ratings like you said. Hopefully the ending ties it all up nicely to please the fans.

That's too bad, but if it has a proper ending fans shouldn't be too disappointed Smile

Only Bleach was cancelled, well the way Tite Kubo ended the series worked well enough that it really does not feel like Bleach was cancelled.

Naruto will come to an end within the next year most likely, and One Piece looks to have at least a few years left in the series. Very Happy

That's a shame. I can only hope it gets renewed at some point, since I've seen the series in Japanese and am currently loving the manga. One of Ichigo's current battles in the manga (won't spoil it) would go over nicely in animated form.

Truthfully I could never get into Bleach so it being cancelled doesn't bother me, but I know alot of people do like it and it always sucks to hear a series is getting cancelled before it is finished. I can't stand that if you are going to cancel it at least wrap it up.
