My Wii is Screwed. AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Yes sir the 96 bucks I paid last year to replace the disk drive, went down the drain. Cause the drive crapped out again. Seriously Nintendo this is the kinda crap I would expect from Microsoft. Not You.

Dang, that sucks. Can't count the number of times I've heard people talk about this exact problem. Maybe Wii failure rates are higher than they seem.

No warranty? If not, wouldn't bother repairing it again since used Wiis are probably cheaper than that nasty $96 repair fee. Just salvage your save data or use a site like WiiSave to get progress back.

Dude Ive had my console since 2007. All my online Save data (which might I add cannot be copied to an SD card) is on there. Monster hunter, Call of Duty, Goldeneye, Conduit. If I buy a new one I will lose EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Im just gonna call em tomorrow and see what they say. Im in too much of a bad mood to call now.

I call Nintendo about an hour ago. They sadi the repair will be a free one. So thaks goodness. I didnt knwo where i was gonna get another 97 bucks to fix the thing. Now my only problem is. HOW AM I ONNA GET INTO DOWNTOWN TORONTO!!!!!!

Not sure where you live in relation to Toronto, but if you're only an hour or two away, it would be worth busing since it's free. Unless you live in like Alberta...

They didn't offer any option to ship it, though? It wouldn't make sense to charge you $97 via the mail but free in person.

On its still Under warranty they say. Thats why the repair is free. I live in Mississagua Ontario, Toronto is not far. But im gonna have to wait till next week when I have some cash in my hands.
