If any of you from the staff are going to contribute to the WiiWareWave Features page, then feel free to do so, but just remember that there are rules here that you must follow in order not to make this page look bad or ruin the purpose of it

1.- Please make the blog post large
Don't worry, it doesn't have to be VERY LONG, just don't make it too short so that it doesn't look like it could've been posted on a forum post instead. (about 1000-more words should be enough)

2.- Please make your arguments/facts/explanations reasonable for your opinion
    If your opinion doesn't...

The Aqua Blue 3DS is evolving

    WiiWareWave Exclusive Features Images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRpkWlXdGPHC9lI4DO_J2L2fkqCmglg63_HzhvSZ2-HxjsBgSzh
    Nintendo 3DS model

As of now, Nintendo of Japan will be the only region to discontinue the Aqua Blue 3DS. This might be the company’s decision to give the consumers one less color scheme to choose from or it might be an early honorary rarity item to one of the two 3DS launch colors. My belief of this reasoning is this:

Nintendo is going to bring the...

The Nintendo Wii is approaching the end of its life; it’s been a great 6 years. While it's been looked down on by many gamers; as a Wii owner, I can honestly say that I’m satisfied.  What the Wii didn’t have in power, it made up for in games and great fun. It's a great console to play with friends and family, and on top of this had a great library of online and single player games. This list is a personal testament to all the games I have enjoyed over the years. Please note only games I have played (or put sufficient time into) will be on this list. Let’s get started.

On April 27th, the Rayman Legends video was leaked out to the world. Aside from the surprise that the critically acclaimed but sales anemic Rayman Origins had spurned a sequel was the much talked about footage of WiiU play that was featured prominently. In the video (below) players scan in a heart and a Rabbid into the game using the WiiU tablet in much the same manner a character is ‘ported’ into a game in Skylanders.

What a great way to end the seventh-generation of the once white iconic console, Nintendo Wii, changing the retail form from black to red. Just maybe, we might get a pink Wii retail system to go along with the Kirby 20th Anniversary software disc that has just announced recently from Nintendo Direct. Which hopefully, won't be as...

    West vs. East!

    WiiWareWave Exclusive Features 1-59

I personally prefer Japanese games due to their creative story telling, beautiful art design, and their games must be fun approach which many western developers abandon in favor of looking realistic. Sure some of those games are fun, but the fact that the industry indicates that Japanese games aren't fresh and reuse gameplay elements yet western games release many of the same games with nothing new other than a new story and new characters. Sure Japanese games can...

    Recap from part 1

My first and only trained Pokemon, Oshawott (yes I know that I misspelled my starter Pokemon throughout part 1, shameful), evolved into the final form Samurott. My Pokemon successfully, mostly during rematches, defeated the first four gym leaders in the Unova region. Throughout this personalize challenge, Samurott will be...

Ever since the Wii launched, a lot of people have been hoping for Nintendo to release games for returning franchises, one of them being Kirby, while this franchise has got its fair share of games on portable systems, people however wanted Kirby to return to consoles, but then in late 2010, Kirby's Epic Yarn has been released ! the game received a lot of praise from critics and consumers alike ! while there are some people who didn't liked the whole different...

As most of you may know, Kid Icarus: Uprising released not even a month ago on the next gen portable Nintendo 3DS. A revival no one, not even Nintendo, saw coming in its future. Some screamed, others fainted, most were shocked into skepticism and the real question always was: How is Nintendo going to pull it off? Fans rejoiced and from the user base it not only sold good but it was a delayed revival well worth the wait. So why couldn't Nintendo pull it off again?

It seems to be a tradition for movies to have a video game released side by side. Many people find games based off movies to be absolutely terrible, right before admitting there are only a few worth mentioning. And Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is no exception.

A lot of people know that the Super Mario Galaxy games are the Wii's most favorite games for the console, mainly because of its gameplay and overall presentation of these games, however for me personally one of my favorite things about these games are the soundtrack ! these soundtracks are amongst one of my favorites of videogame music soundtracks throughout these generations, and some...

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are one of the most well received and greatly praised games for the Nintendo Wii, the games that pretty much critics and fans loved so much in fact that they are actually one of the all-time best reviewed games in gamerankings and metacritic, and for good reason ! in my opinion these games were really fun, enjoyable, it pretty much became one of my favorite games of not only in their respective years, but maybe in all of my...
